  • Overview

    The Purchasing Support/Item File Master role will be responsible for working with the Purchasing team to gather, organize and maintain critical product information. These duties include working with vendors, buyers and the receiving team to accurately and efficiently enter product information into our system.


    • Manage item file maintenance to ensure item specification accuracy
    • Update products with description changes in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with receiving team to correct product code errors
    • Assist Purchasing team in additional duties, including entering and confirming Purchase Orders as well as running sales reports


    ·         Strong organizational skills; attention to detail, time management and prioritizing

    ·         Ability to work in a production-driven environment

    ·         Strong interpersonal skills



    ·         High school equivalency minimum

    ·         Proficient computer skills, specifically Excel
