Overview

The primary function of this position is to assist the Account Executives in growing our business by providing administrative and clerical support. The position is designed to have a daily list of short term tasks and responsibilities as well as long-term projects as directed by the Sales Manager.

 

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:45am -5:00pm

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Cover for assigned Account Executives in their absence
  • Enter weekly standing orders for account executives
  • Run reports and complete forms for Account Executives as needed
  • Send out price lists to customers
  • Print new price lists daily
  • Customize customers shopping lists, price quotes, and in-house flyers
  • Produce customer catalogs as needed
  • Handle and assist with incoming customer calls
  • Create various reports on customers as needed
  • Cover Receptionist desk and answer multi line phone system as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two-Four years customer service experience in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of the food industry, specifically meat products a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Must be able to handle heavy customer contact, being comfortable interacting with all  types of people and different situations  

  • Must have excellent computer skills with a strong background in Excel and Microsoft Office
